SEA Games: Philippines Survives Tough Match Against Thailand to Advance in The Finals
Philippine Men's Basketball team which is also known as the Sinag Pilipinas will have a chance to take home the gold in the 28th Southeast Asian Games as they beat Thailand in their men's basketball semi- finals match at OCBC Arena on Sunday, 80- 75.

Despite of being down by 11-point deficit Gilas Cadets managed to came back and win the match with the heroic shots of Troy Rosario, 27 points and 12 rebounds; Almond Vosotros, 18 points and Kiefer Ravena who hit a clutch trey in the 16.5- second mark of the game.
So far it was the closest match for our National team since they are winning against opponent in the elimination round by an average of 62 points.
"We fought against a professional team and the countries in Southeast Asia are improving because of ABL (Asean Basketball League) where this team has been playing" said head coach Thomas Anthony Baldwin.
Except for the 1989 SEA Games wherein Malaysia got the gold, Philippines has never lost the title since 1977.
Philippines will face Indonesia for the Final match on Monday.
