#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions for September 15, 2016

Due to the bad weather condition brought by typhoons Ferdie, Gener and the southwest monsoon, some school administrators and local government units have declared class suspension for their respective schools and areas on Wednesday, September 15, 2016.

 According to the weather bureau, typhoon Ferdie has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 12:30 pm today and was last seen 315 km Northwest of Basco, Batanes. It has a maximum sustained winds of up to 195 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 230 kph.

 On the other hand, typhoon Gener is maintaining its maximum sustained winds of up to 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is moving Northwest at 25 kph.

 Both weather systems are expected to intensify southwest monsoon that may bring severe rainfall and thunderstorm in some areas.
