#WalangPasok: Class Suspensions for October 18, 2016

Due to the bad weather condition brought by typhoon Lawin and the southwest monsoon, some school administrators and local government units have declared class suspension for their respective schools and areas on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.

According to the weather bureau, typhoon Karen is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 565 km West of Dagupan City, Pangasinan. It has a Maximum sustained winds of up to 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 200 kph.

However, another strong typhoon is set to enter the PAR at 4:00 PM today and will be named "Lawin". Typhoon with international name Haima which is currently at 1,615 kilometers east of the Visayas archipelago and has sustained winds of up to 105 kph and gusts of up to 130 kph, moving west northwest at 17 kph.
