CAVITE, Philippines — Tropical Storm Warning Signal number 3 was raised in Catanduanes as Typhoon “Nina” continue to move towards Bicol area.
According to the 11:00 p.m. weather bulletin, the eye of the storm was last seen at 345 km East of Virac, Catanduanes. It is moving West Northwest at 13 km/h.
Nina has a maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 215 kph.
TCWS #2 is raised in Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Masbate including Ticao and Burias Island, Albay, Sorsogon and Northern Samar while, TCWS #1 is raised in Metro Manila, Bataan, Southern Zambales, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon including Polillo Island, Aurora, Romblon, Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island Oriental Mindoro, Aklan, Capiz, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, Leyte and Bantayan Island.
It is expected to make a landfall over Catanduanes tomorrow, December 25.
