Class Suspension

MANILA, Philippines – Some school administrators and local government units have announced class suspensions on Monday, June 11, 2018 due to the bad weather condition in different regions of our country.

Here is the list of areas and schools with class suspensions.

 


TYPHOON DOMENG

 

“Domeng” intensified and now a typhoon as it continue to move outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). However, the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by the Typhoon will continue to bring rains over the western section of Luzon until early this week.

Location: At 9:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon “DOMENG” was located based on all available data at 1,045 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR) (25.1 °N, 130.8 °E)

Strength:Maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 145 kph

Forecast:Forecast to move Northeast at 37 kph
