ABS-CBN TVplus Go Review

On June 1, the phone entertainment experience is about to change with the new ABS-CBN TVplus Go – the mobile version of ‘mahiwagang black-box’, ABS-CBN TV plus.

As of the time of posting, the TVplus Go is now available in selected Cellboy and Celltime branches located in SM Malls in Metro Manila, Cavite and Bulacan.

In a news release on Saturday, the ABS-CBN TVplus Go is the first product that lets Android smartphone users to watch free-to-air TV and exclusive ABS-CBN Channels.

Same as with the ABS-CBN TV plus box, TVplus Go will be able to access exclusive digital channels such as ABS-CBN, ABS-CBN S&A, DZMM Teleradyo, Cinemo, YeY, and knowledge channel.

Channels on free trial like Asianovela Channel, Movie Central, Jeepney TV, Myx and O shopping are also available.

“Millions of Filipinos use mobile devices as part of their everyday lives. We aim to serve every Filipino by providing easy and affordable access to entertainment and information from their favorite Kapamilya channels right at their fingertips with ABS-CBN TVplus Go.” Charles Lim, ABS-CBN Access head said.

The android application is available for download at the Google playstore.

The TVplus Go is designed to work on an android smartphone with the following minimum requirements:

  • Micro USB port ( Type- C port works using a Micro USB adapter with data support)
  • USB OTG Android device
  • Android 5.0 Operating System or higher
  • 1GB RAM or higher.
  • Dual-core processor or higher

Also make sure that your android phone is not rooted since the TVplus Go application will not work in a rooted device.
